MAG has opened technology centre into Kempele, which will be the centre of operations activity in Finland. Technology centre includes facilities to develop and test FlexMill™ applications for Aerospace and Marine customers as well as “mini-factory” for Telecom- and Electronic industry applications development and testing prior those mass productions.
1st of September, the Board of Directors of Master Automation Group has appointed Hemmi Piirainen as President and CEO of Master Automation Group. Piirainen has a proven track record to lead MAG into designed growth and development. Piirainen has previously worked at Nokia Networks and later Nokia Siemens Networks in diverse management duties in Finland and abroad.
Teijo Fabritius is starting as Vice Chairman of the Board of Master Automation Group, starting 1st of September. Fabritius will focus on MAG’s future business opportunities.
Head office of Master Automation Group moves from Oulunsalo to Kempele. Also the general billing address changes due to the new facilities.

Farnborough Airshow, 19-25 July 2010
At the Farnborough Airshow the MAG´s FlexMill™ Robotic Solutions are in the frontier due to the surface finishing of the jet engine parts. MAG is present at the fair at the co-booth organized by Northwest Aerospace Alliance (NWAA). The booth is situated in a prime location within the UK Pavilion within Hall 1 (stand D11).
