MAG to supply robotic system solution to SAKO, Finland

MAG wins robotic manufacturing solution order from Finnish hunting and sporting rifle manufacturer SAKO. As part of Italic Beretta concern SAKO held international bidding competition in order to get solution to barrel manufacturing as well as assembly and testing of bolts. MAG was chosen as supplier because of “the most workable” system solution. Moreover, agreement was a result of long lasting co-operation with SAKO Oy since 1995.

New supply agreement covers vision guided robot system for part handling together with MAG´s upper level control software for optimization and automatic robot cell for bolt assembly. In practice, the order includes MAG FlexMill™ T-series linear track robotic system and the MAG CIRB 1000 assembly cell with feeders for bolt assembly and testing.
